Steph Stilwell is a New York Times bestselling illustrator and master of puns based in Brooklyn, NY.
She loves humor, saturated color palettes, hand-lettering, and is most often drawing food. Steph received her BFA in illustration from MICA and has since been working in-house as a designer and art director in publishing for nearly a decade. She is now an author-illustrator for her own books, while also creating illustrations for the surface design industry. Steph’s favorite projects are full of whimsy, humor, and anthropomorphized characters, and she loves to collaborate on books and thoughtfully-designed products alike.
When she isn’t working you will likely find her doodling in a coffee shop, meandering through an art museum, rearranging her apartment, or strolling through Prospect Park.
